A place for
your best work.
A quick introduction to Ownlight, the native workspace for your coding agents. The desktop release is in preparation.
Start with the agents you know.
Ownlight brings Claude Code, Codex, opencode, and DeepSeek Harness into one workspace. Each agent runs in its own terminal, with a name, a status, and a clear place in your project.
You use your own subscriptions, API accounts, or supported model backends. Ownlight does not include an AI subscription. Supported CLI versions and final operating-system requirements will be documented with the release.
From a thought to a finished task.
- Choose a project. Open the folder you want to work in and launch an installed agent.
- Make room for the work. Arrange the live terminals on your canvas and save the workspace layout.
- Give your plans a place. Use the board to organize tasks and dispatch approved tickets to agent sessions.
- Step in when it matters. Check Needs you for questions and approvals. Review the work when the agent finishes.
The interactive preview on the homepage shows a simplified sample of this workflow. Its actions do not run commands or connect to your computer.
Cloud agents. Local possibilities.
You do not need special hardware or an Ownlight server to use the desktop app with cloud agents.
If you run local models, you can connect an Ownlight gateway, Ollama, or a supported OpenAI- or Anthropic-compatible backend. Agent compatibility depends on the chosen backend and its model capabilities.
Local sessions can show live generation speed and usage. Cost comparisons are estimates, not a record of money you would necessarily have spent. The homepage's performance figure is illustrative, not a benchmark or speed guarantee.
Your workspace, within reach.
Ownlight includes a companion phone web app. Pair it with the desktop service to follow agent sessions, answer requests, launch work, and use the task board.
Your phone needs a network path to your computer. Access away from home requires a secure remote setup, such as a private network connection. Ownlight does not currently include a hosted relay. Final remote-access and notification setup instructions will accompany the release.
Getting ready for release.
The planned desktop price is $99 as a one-time purchase, with a $69 founder offer. AI subscriptions, API usage, and hardware costs remain separate.
Mac and Windows downloads, checkout, final trial behaviour, update entitlement, and the founder-offer window are not available yet. These details will be published before sales open.
